In my experience though, when someone is super dramatic or has trouble getting along with with people, an hour or two with them will almost always indicate that somethings off. Some commonly used reasons for leaving a position include: You are relocating to another region You are transitioning to another career Your company has scarce promotion opportunities Your values are not compatible with the company's culture The company underwent restructuring Your job was outsourced You can try an answer like I wanted to to take some time and really focus on finding the right fit for my next move, but even then most interviewers are going to assume theres more to it. Its not as simple as holding it against them, though; its about whether theyre competing with other candidates who dont have a possibility of their playing a role in a previous jobs problems.
